assignments, readings, or other issues within 24 hours
(Monday-Friday). This is more than what traditional students get! Find out
about your teacher's response policy.

| Your instructor may respond to your email messages on
weekends, but he/she may choose to spend time with family and friends
instead. Can you blame them?

| Please don't expect your instructor to respond to email or
forum questions on holidays.

| It takes much longer to grade exams, term papers, and other
major projects. Response time for these types of assignments ranges from a
few days to a couple of weeks or more. Check with your instructor to find
out how long he/she will take to grade coursework.

| Most instructors communicate with their students via
regular email and/or weekly announcements,
clarifications on assignments, etc. Learn from their example and stay in
touch.
